International Day of Radiology 2019, Nov. 8, to focus on sports imaging

More than 160 radiology-related professional societies from around the world will participate in the 8th International Day of Radiology (IDoR) on November 8, whose central theme is sports imaging this year. The organisers (ESR, RSNA, ACR) aim at building greater awareness of the role of radiology in safe patient care and the healthcare continuum. In the run-up to the celebration, a WHO-ISR webinar will be organized in Spanish on Nov. 6.

International Congress of Radiology 2020

The ISR Executive Committee decided to reinstate the International Congress of Radiology (ICR) in 2020 in collaboration with the Oman Radiology and Molecular Imaging Society (ORMIS). The agreement between ISR and ORMIS was signed during ECR 2019. The congress will be held in Muscat, Oman, from 1-4 October 2020.

New edition of GoRad available

GO RAD is a new global outreach program developed by the International Society of Radiology. Through agreements with these cooperating major radiology journals, the GO RAD platform provides immediate open access to a limited amount of otherwise restricted access content, providing an electronic link back to the original on-line article, at the time of first publication.
