The International Congress of Radiology brought the global radiology community together in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, May 14–16, for four days of education, scientific exchange, innovation, and international collaboration. The meeting, held in conjunction with the Colombian Congress of Radiology, welcomed 2,051 participants, speakers, staff, and guests, including 283 participants from 36 countries outside Colombia.

The scientific program featured 288 lectures and workshops spanning 113 hours of education, with 108 guest speakers contributing their expertise. Sessions addressed a broad range of topics, including musculoskeletal and urogenital imaging, artificial intelligence, interventional radiology, neuroradiology, radiology management, and education for technologists. The meeting also featured 305 scientific submissions, including research papers, digital posters, and digital exhibits, with 27 research groups recognized with awards.

The congress showcased the latest developments in medical imaging through a technical exhibition featuring 60 industry companies, while social events provided opportunities for participants and faculty to connect beyond the scientific program.

Attendee feedback reflected the educational value of the meeting. Eighty-one percent of participants said they planned to implement information learned during the congress, while 83% reported that educational objectives were met and 89% agreed that the information presented was supported by evidence. Overall, 68% rated the scientific program as excellent, and 66% gave the congress the highest possible overall satisfaction rating.
